(358 words) In her text, the writer Grekova raises the eternal problem of fortitude. She discusses how to find the strength to confront and continue to move forward, despite all the difficulties.
This problem is especially relevant at the present time when there is competition for jobs, and it is difficult for a person to find the strength to constantly fight for a place in the sun. People constantly compare their achievements with the successes of others, trying to surpass them.
The author’s position is that we should not lose heart, even when it seems to us that the world around us is collapsing. Grekova writes: "The most important thing is not to fall into despair, not to feel sorry for yourself." Thus, she emphasizes that we should not give free rein to our emotions. The persistence of our character directly depends on our perception of events. The writer notes: "Man ... is the master of his moods." She wants to say that only we are able to control our feelings, which are directly proportional to our productivity.
A vivid example of the works of Russian literature is the work of M. Yu. Lermontov “Mtsyri”. The main character lived in captivity all his life. But, despite being imprisoned in the monastery, he did not lose heart and strove to break free. In the end, he managed to break the chains of his prison and escape. Despite the fact that he was caught and returned back, he showed incredible willpower and steadfastness. After all, not everyone could save a dream when there is no freedom, and the walls of the monastery are crushed from everywhere.
From my personal experience, I want to give a very memorable period of my life. Once I faced a misunderstanding within the walls of the school, and even the family was not all right. These tests layered on each other, it seemed to me that it was getting worse and worse. And then I watched Roberto Benigni's film Life Is Beautiful. There, the heroes were in the death camp, but the child was told that all the people around were playing a game, and you should not take what was happening seriously. With their stories, they convinced their son that the one who never catches the guard's eyes will get a whole tank. Seeing such a phenomenal endurance, I also began to patiently and calmly solve my problems, and soon life really got better.
Thus, it is necessary to understand that only we can overcome all adversities and move on. If we are not able to isolate our thoughts from emotions, no one can help us.
