It takes a person years to become a person. Views can change, thoughts become more healthy, and actions are meaningful. Growing up, of course, a person changes. But there must be something unchanging. In order to understand what can be subjected to changes, and what is best kept the same, let us turn to literary works.
Recall the great novel in Pushkin’s poems “Eugene Onegin”. At the beginning of the work we see a young nobleman desperately looking for a new occupation, and young Tatyana, eager to meet her love. Realizing the depth of her feelings, Tatyana decides to write a letter to Eugene, in which she admits her attraction. For the girl, this was considered absolutely unacceptable. In response, Tatyana does not receive the desired response, and soon we will meet more matured heroes. Onegin’s views regarding the heroine became different: now, having fallen in love with Tatyana, he is trying to achieve her location. However, Tatyana, in spite of her former feelings, refuses the hang, because she is now a married lady. You can begin to relate to a person in a completely different way, like Onegin, but you must follow the example of Tatiana, who always remains true to her principles. For the girl, the main thing is the family, so the well-read heroine becomes a staunch and strong guardian of the family hearth.
Growing up and becoming a person we observe in many heroes of the novel-epic Tolstoy "War and Peace." Looking closely at Natasha Rostova at the beginning of the work, the reader may not perceive her as a worthy girl. Natasha’s act towards Andrei Bolkonsky can be called frivolous, because the heroine almost ran away with Anatoly Kuragin. But at the end of the fourth volume we see Natasha Bezukhov, who has matured, faithful and clinging to her family. In her youth, the girl was capable of stupidity, but, learning from mistakes, she no longer admits this in a relationship. Natasha benefited from time and experience, changed her, while preserving the charm and liveliness of the heroine, her kindness and responsiveness.
Over time, a person changes not only externally, but also internally. He may look at some things differently, he may suddenly fall in love with something to which the soul did not even lie before. However, growing up, it is so important for a person to keep the best qualities unchanged in himself: love and respect for those around him, as well as loyalty to loved ones, himself and his principles.
